Artist's Comments

To shut yourself away
Turn the lights down to grey
Will not fix the pain
Or the loss that you feel

Oh to turn back the clock
To make all this madness stop
Spend another hour, a minute together
A timeless lovers embrace forever

Aloft his funeral pyre
Was maybe your inner desire
Secluded existence the same
Nows time for a change

All alone you feel
This wound time cannot heal
Do not shut yourself away
Fate will always find a way

Re-enter the world of the living
Dwell no longer in the land of the dead
Like a phoenix arisen
From the ashes you carry

The ashes of the past
Of a love that will forever last
Time to arise, reborn
Live your life and be happy

Finally finished, was a bit trying on the hand. This is the second biggest painting ive ever done, my first was my shop sign i painted round a year ago.
All up i think it took just shy of 20 hours.

Cloistering Reach by *phoenixtattoos displays intricate detail, as well as passion and pain of the loss of one that is loved, as well as gives the hope of the love eternal. The subjects of the painting are placed in the position of the heart amplified through strong line work and movement of hair and background .The figures are grasping for the bits of the reality that is no more. With the Giger like style, screaming emotion, and a poem to complete it all this is the work that is not to be missed. (Featured by `sbaraci)

it turned out as close to perfection as it goes :fuzzydemon: all the textures really make it stand out! i was fascinated by the dotty texture that's new for this one, reminds me of some poisonous frog skin :fuzzydemon:

the lighting in the back ground gave it a pretty cool debth :fuzzydemon: now i can't wait to get a printer :fuzzydemon: it'll blend lovely with the 5 Giger posters in my living room

Marvelous work indeed!
The encapsulated heart bound in its duality, reaching out into universal chaos of mind …
You have given it accelerated expression.
Thank you for giving it another life.

Ha ha ha, you bastard, in all honesty i can claim ignorance about the heart, i only realised till i was near the end of the painting that they were in the shape of a heart, im a dummy.
